Welcome to Summertree Farm and our farm cottages, which have been converted from our original farmyard buildings, and comprise two cottages on the ground floor level, each sleeping two persons.

Here at High Marishes, we are so well situated for you to explore this beautiful area of North Yorkshire with the North York Moors on our doorstep and York, Whitby and Scarborough only a half hour drive away.

We are surrounded by open countryside but only a mere five minute drive away from the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale, where you can enjoy lovely walks, call in at the pubs or tea rooms, visit the local shops or just sit in the village square and watch the world go by! It is also the gateway to Dalby Forest, with cycle paths, forest activities, picnic areas and spectacular views.
